Year 2 - Sleepover at school
During Term 4, students participate in a sleepover in preparation for the Year 3 camping program. The sleepover is designed to integrate into the Term 4 curriculum. Students take part in a range of fun and exciting activities.
Year 3 - Camp Arrabri, Warburton
The camp provides an outdoor education opportunity for the students in a safe but challenging environment. A range of activities related to the Personal and Interpersonal domains of the Victorian Curriculum will be offered over the 3 days. Co-operation and support of one another are fostered and encouraged in the choice of many of the activities. School values are reinforced within the camp program.
Year 4 - The Island, Cowes
Students will be involved in a range of activities related to outdoor education, personal and interpersonal development throughout the three days. Students will be challenged to participate in adventure activities not possible in a regular school environment.
Year 5 - Weekaway, Benloch
This camp not only provides opportunities for outdoor education but is the culmination of the Year 5 Bike Education program. Students are challenged to participate in a range of outdoor adventure activities which support the development of their personal and interpersonal skills as well as continuing to develop students as school leaders. The main activity of the camp is a half day bike ride that showcases what students have learnt throughout the Year 5 Bike Education program.
Year 6 - Canberra Camp
The Year 6 students travel to Canberra and participate in a range of educational activities including a guided tour of Parliament House, the War Memorial and Old Parliament. These experiences consolidate what our students have been learning through our school parliament system. We also take the opportunity to explore some of Canberra’s other attractions, such as a bike ride along Lake Burley Griffin and visiting incredible Questicon.
