Term 2 kicked off with an immersion day focusing on the future – specifically, investigating the future of different areas of society including fashion and wearable technology, architecture, technology, transport, food and space. We had virtual reality pods, virtual reality in space, robotics, conductive thread for wearable tech, used TinkerCAD to design the buildings of the future, explored the future of transport, used augmented reality with cubes to create multi-dimensional presentations and even ate crickets as an exploration into the future of food!
